After months of speculation, the fate of Alaskan Bush People Season 6 has finally been revealed. The reality show is slated to return on the Discovery Channel in January. What’s more, Matt Brown is also expected to return.
Rumors that the show has been canceled have been making the rounds for months. A lot of viewers even believed that Alaskan Bush People is among the shows that Discovery Channel’s new president, Rich Ross, would be pulling out of the network. The numerous scandals that plagued the show’s fifth season did not help matters either.
Alaskan Bush People Is Back for More
However, it seems that the series is getting another chance. According to TV Series Finale, Alaskan Bush People Season 6 will be returning to the network next month. More importantly, all the Brown family members will be back.
Fans will recall that Matt, the eldest of the Brown children, left the series in Season 5 and checked himself in a rehab for his alcohol problem. Now he is said to be clean, healthy and ready to rejoin his family. The upcoming season will reportedly also show how the 33-year-old is handling life after rehab.
Matt’s return is definitely welcome as the whole family has to stick together if they are to thrive in the bush. According to reports, Alaskan Bush People Season 6 will find the family struggling with tough choices, while the Brown men continue their quest to find love and build a life in the bush. Viewers can expect to see the family face the harsh but beautiful Alaskan wild, which includes bears and storms.
Meanwhile, a new addition to the family will hopefully make life better. The premiere episode of Alaskan Bush People Season 6 is slated to be aired on Jan. 4, Wednesday, on Discovery Channel.
The network recently released a trailer for the upcoming season, giving fans a quick look at the family. The short clip teases that the family homestead is turning into something bigger.
