Conflicts of Interest

These days it seems like every major publisher is part of some big conglomerate with built-in conflicts of interest. It’t a function of our connected Internet world that everybody doing anything is now somehow connected to everybody else. Gosh!TV is too.

The staff of Gosh!TV runs ScreenPlayLab, one of the largest industry associations in Hollywood. We produce and edit content for many companies and publishers in Hollywood and around the world. We’re connected to practically everyone somehow. We’re often writing about people we know. Most of our staff has worked for networks or studios and continues to be heavily involved in the industry. When writing about our own project or product, we’ll state that. If the writer or editor of a story has a direct financial interest in a story, we’ll state that.

We  focus on the best and most interesting products and companies we can find.  It would be financially impractical to buy all the products we review. Studios send us screeners. Publishers send us books. Manufacturers send us gear. In reviewing products we focus on what’s good about a product and what type of person would like the product and why, rather than impose our reviewer’s tastes. Our style and mandate is to be upbeat, to seek good news to report.
